The balance and versatility of this knife is beyond compare.

Well crafted knife is perfectly balanced. Love the steel used here. Razor sharp and a joy to cut with. Purchased for my wife, good thing bc the D handle fits her hand, but feels a bit small for me. Works better for right handers, but feels decent in the left hand ( I am a lefty).

Smaller version of my other Shun knife so fo a quick cutting of fruits, vegetables very convenient it serve the purpose not pointy so I feel safer.

I bought the Classic Master Utility knife for my wife for Christmas and it was an outstanding purchased. I have purchased other Shun knives for specific purposes (e.g. Classic BIrd's Beak, Classic Chef's 8", etc.) and have been very pleased with them. This utility knife handles well all the other chopping that was not design purpose of our other knives.
