I have been making risotto for years. As a home cook, I have tried many methods and techniques. I finally decided it was time to up my risotto game and get the proper pan for making risotto. I purchased a 3 quart saucier, and to take advantage of the rounded sides I added the Staub Risotto Spoon. I thought, what difference could a spoon make? A HUGE difference! Stirring with the Risotto Spoon in a saucier is next level. It clears the sides and stirs without effort. I can see and taste a difference. It's also very nice looking. I keep adding to my Staub kitchen tool collection. They are made to perform their intended task and look good doing it!. Anonyme. Sun Jun 28 2026

The offset, angled head sits slightly below the handle, which makes it easier to scrape a mixing bowl completely clean. Tapered edges reach the corners and curves that rounded spoons miss. A patented nylon core inside the silicone head adds strength for thick batters and stiff doughs without losing that flexibility. The head is 2.25 inches wide, sized for reaching into bowls and jars. BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and gentle on nonstick, ceramic and cast iron cookware. The one-piece build has no seams to trap food and goes straight into the dishwasher.

The Tovolo Silicone Mixing Spoon with Stainless Steel Handle is the everyday spoon for stirring sauces, mixing batters, folding ingredients and serving side dishes. A reinforced nylon core inside the silicone head keeps it from bending, so it holds its shape in thick cookie dough, nut butters, risotto and dense sauces. The flexible silicone surface glides across nonstick, cast iron and stainless steel cookware without scratching, while still contacting the whole pan for even stirring. The head is heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and BPA-free. The spoon measures 11.75 inches long with a 2.36 inch wide head, and the sturdy stainless steel handle reaches the bottom of stockpots and mixing bowls. The silicone resists stains and odors from tomato sauce, curry and turmeric, and the spoon is dishwasher safe.

The Tovolo Flex-Core Silicone Fork takes on a long list of cooking jobs with one utensil. It twirls spaghetti, tosses pasta, scrambles eggs, shreds pulled pork and chicken, and folds delicate batters. The Flex-Core design runs a reinforced nylon core through the head, giving the prongs enough firmness to push through thick ingredients. The silicone around that core stays flexible, so it is gentle on soft foods and will not scratch nonstick, ceramic or cast iron pans. Tapered prongs grab noodles and lift them cleanly from pot to plate. The BPA-free silicone is heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. One-piece construction leaves no gaps for food to collect, and the stain and odor resistant silicone is dishwasher safe.

The Tovolo Flex-Core Silicone Spoonula combines a shallow spoon bowl with a spatula edge, so one tool can scoop, stir, scrape, fold and serve. Choose a stainless steel handle or a natural wood handle. The angled head keeps food in the spoon while you lift, and tapered edges follow the curved walls of bowls and pans to reach the corners a rounded spoon misses. Inside the head, a Flex-Core nylon core adds strength for thick batters and hearty doughs while the edges stay flexible. The BPA-free silicone head is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, ceramic or cast iron cookware. The stainless steel version is fully dishwasher safe. On the wood version, the silicone head is dishwasher safe and the wood handle is hand washed and dried before storing.
