I needed two of these. They both look just like the picture. One was more perfect than the other but the flaw won't show. (The protective backing is not glued on straight.) It is on the bottom of the base and slides under the sofa so it won't be seen. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The structure of the fixtures is sturdy and the lamps definitely work for my area.

It is so unique and is a conversation piece in my living room. However, the colour is gold the entire way down the arm of the lamp. It does not change to black like it shows in the photo. The glass does not sit perfectly symmetrical on the 3 pins at the top of the attachment, but it's not noticeable unless if you are installing it.
