As this was in my bedroom over the bed you can see the bulbs in your face too much, so we don't put on much. Pretty but it needs a base to cover bulbs and fixture.

I was not aware there would be assembly required as that was not stated in the product specifications and description. In addition, the included directions are vague and completely unhelpful. Furthermore, my light appears to come with both a chain and extension rod. I thought it would mount directly to the ceiling. I think I might like this light...once I finally find someone to assemble it and figure out how it hangs.
