Assembly was simple and the light is perfect for my reading chair.

Easy to assemble, low profile. Agree with other reviewers about it being better to not have the cord showing from mid-way down the base and that it'd be better to not have the power light on the lamp be illuminated. Otherwise, very happy with it.

Just got it, so I'll see how it holds up. One thing I don't like is that it has a little light on the on/off switch that never turns off.
