This is a heavy duty planter. And I mean HEAVY! It's heavy on its' own, but once this sucker is full of dirt and plants it was nearly impossible for me to move to the exact spot I wanted it on my porch. Just be mindful of that when planting. Keep it close by or in the place you want it to finally sit. It has one drainage hole on the bottom of the planter and one hole in the tray that sits in the center of the planter. I put a square of mesh landscaping fabric on the bottom of the tray before adding a few small stones then dirt to allow drainage but prevent the dirt from washing out of the hole in the tray and mucking up my porch. Overall, I'm very happy with these planters and I'm confident they'll last a long time.

These planters are exacting what I was looking for! they dress up our front of the house! Still waiting for Wayfair's boxwood balls to place on top!

Did not look as nice in real. Gave for a gift and felt imbarassed

after I got them I had a change of plans, but I think the change will be even better.
