UPDATE: DO NOT BUY! It did not hold up even 3 months and could not withstand any rain and collapsed under the weight of simple rain due to the rods and support beams being extremely thin and hollow and not near enough drain holes in the fabric top.. All the glides also snapped and the fabric ties ripped off. I reached out to the seller AND the manufacturer and both refused to honor the warranty. The manufacturer actually ran me around for a week asking for more pictures which i immediately provided and stated they would send me parts for repair and then came back saying they would not honor anything and for me to pay a repairman to try and fix it when its pretty much beyond any repair especially without the needed parts. Very dishonest business that i would never purchase from again. I just don’t have much good to say as i did have high hopes for this pergola and took a chance on it having no reviews. 4 people and over 7 hours later and its still not correctly done. The instructions are HORRIBLE and there is no support you can call with any questions as they ask for you to email them and when you are in the middle of putting this thing together thats really not feasible. Many parts leave you guessing where they go or what angle and we never figured out where the second part of the sun shade goes as its not even on the instructions or pictured. For the price i also expected it to be sturdier but maybe thats because there is a chance its not even put together right. Save yourself the headache as you may need to hire someone to assemble.
