It was easy to put together. It is solid wood. The fit and finish is not great. What holds the two leaves up is too loose. The thing that bothered me the most was the use of wood filler on the top surface. It sticks out like a sore thumb. This is the problem of buying something online without the benefit of putting eye balls on it.
