These are NOT damage free. I used them for hanging lightweight swirl decorations from our foyer, hallway, and kitchen ceilings for a 50th anniversary party. When removing, many of the sticky strips broke off, making them nearly impossible to remove without a pry tool. And for those that didn't break, nearly every single one of the strips removed plaster and/or paint from the ceiling. Our ceiling was painted just 6 months ago, and now will have to be repainted as there are chip spots everywhere. I've used all sorts of other Command strips and hooks before, and these are the only ones that have caused this much damage. I'm really disappointed.

Great product, but you need to sell refills for the adhesive strips. It's bad for the planet that we have to buy a fresh pack of the plastic decorating clips in order to get more adhesive strips. If you have to charge a premium for the adhesive, go ahead - just don't make us throw away the plastic clips after every use.

I love this product. I used to hang mother's Christmas lights above the bar every year. My issue that is every year I try to find refills and I can't. I couldn't even find them on your site this year. The clips are all on the cord ready to go, I just need refills. I still have to buy a new pack every year and throw out the plastics because all I need is the refill.

Bought this weekend and most of the strips wouldn't stick at all to anything. Never had any problems with other command products but these were trash. My kids are upset because we can't hang the lights up.

I agree with many posts on here, please make refills for these decorating clips. I have millions of clips and I don't want to buy more I just need the strips to hang the ones I already have!

PERFECT for my apartment decorations on painted walls. A single hook held my wreath made entirely of metal bells on my front door through all the opening and shutting for the duration of the season. I keep some in my junk drawer just in case.

I bought these last year to hold up some wiring for the lights in my kitchen cabinets. When one broke, I went to the pack to get a new one to use. Unfortunately the strips dried up and no longer work. Very wasteful as I now have clips without the strips and they don’t sell refills. I guess you can try to buy the smallest available and cut them to size. Will that work?

I agree 100% with a previous review (#29910020) that there should be an option to buy replacement strips, since the clips are reusable. It's a shame and wasteful to throw the old clips away when all I need is new strips. Since there are so many products offered, why can't reusable light-hanging strips be an option?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little command hooks are amazing. I used them to hang a string with photos clipped to it. They don't hold a lot of weight but are perfect for small items. I have used them for a string of lights and they are perfect! I am going to use them for Christmas lights in my home this year. They remove so easily and don't damage walls at all.

The clips were wonderful for our Christmas lights at first. But they started to fall off after a while. When I tried to replace the strips, I found that the old strips left yellow residues after I pull them off. And the new strips also dried out and doesn't stick at all. Upon checking, all the clips that are still on my window frame were pretty much loosen, and would fall off when apply the lightest pressure. Very disappointed.
