I thought this was a chalk board. The item description was not accurate. The customer service associate did not have the information, the website did not have information. I should have not bought it. My mistake but I was in a hurry and needed a chalkboard and this one "looked" like one. This board is not a chalkboard and has plastic that covers it (removable) and seems to be a board to display a poster menu etc. Otherwise the quality is good but am disappointed just the same.
