Very soft after the first wash, very little pilling. Warm and cozy.

Flannel sheets are pretty. They could be a bit softer. The size is generous. I was disappointed because one pillow case was lighter shaded than the other one. Looks off, but I didnt want to jack with returning it.

It's hard to say exactly why these are my favorite flannel sheets of all time, because I'm not a fabrics expert. But here goes: Most flannels I've bought are somewhat loosely knit with lots of fluff--much of which vanishes in the washer and dryer. These have no fluff, and they are tightly woven, so they hug the mattress and lie flat. They're soft and comfy too. BONUS #1: They come packaged in a tote bag made of the same flannel as the bedding. BONUS #2: Eco-friendly company. I absolutely love them and will buy more of this brand.

These are so soft and heavenly. I just want to hibernate in my bed all fall and winter now. I also love the color and pattern.
