There are four small pegs on each seat backing that fall out. I resolved with a bit of superglue before putting them back in, instead of relying on force. Overall I recommend, they are stylish and comfortable for a bar stool.

These stools are ok. They look nice but the construction is poor. Some of the pilot holes for the screws are drilled too large so that the provided screws arent able to take to the wood and hold the leg pieces together. I was able to solve this problem with wood glue, but now they arent the sturdiest stools. Would not recommend them for heavy use, but they make nice stools for light use.

Buyer Beware. Do not buy this product it is cheap and defective. I would of given no stars if able. The wood is so thin that when putting in screws for assembly it splits. In the first order one of the legs broke during the shipping process when there was some damage to the box. When Wayfair sent us a replacement none of the stools were able to even be assembled because the wood was so sub par. Also, doubt any of the chairs would of been able to hold my weight even if they could of been assembled.

Do not buy!! Poor quality. Shattered while sitting on it while having dinner. It is a miracle I did not get hurt. Pics were taken with chair already in garbage bag.

Update: I still like the look of these stools after 6+ months, however they don’t feel very sturdy. I am considering having someone reassemble them for me in hopes that will help. I love these stools! They look great at my breakfast bar and match the mid-century vibe I’m going for in my living room. They feel sturdy and comfortable and are the right height for my apartment. However, they were extremely hard to put together. I have never struggled putting together furniture more than I had with these stools. Make sure you have a helpful friend or get expert assembly - very difficult to do on your own.

Tricky to assemble but very solid once complete! Beautiful bar stools. Highly recommend! We love them!

At first, I didn't think I liked them. But my husband LOVED them. After living with them a couple of weeks, I agree with him. They are actually comfortable, as well as stylish - they are similar in design to our dining table chairs too, so they fit right into the room They are a win, for sure. (see photo of them - in the background at the bar, behind the dining table)

Sadly the pieces of these chairs were so poorly constructed the parts would not fit together. Screws just fell out of the slots after being fastened. Some screws were too long and poked through the wood on the other side weakening the support. Having put together a bunch of Wayfair furniture recently (with total ease and success) I was disappointed at how badly constructed this set was. Thankfully Wayfair made a full refund to me.
