The tables look exactly like their pictures and description. I bought it specifically for the lip around the edges which is great for little spills of liquid or anything really. Gave it for stars because the height for legs to fit under it is low. My couch is normal height and I am 5'10" and an inseam of 30". My knees do not fit under the table comfortably and I must straddle it. Also when moving the table with anything on it, remember to wrap your fingers under the lips to hold the top in place. But I do recommend it
