The bed is really beautiful though darker than I expected. However, I would hardly call this bed frame solid wood. Leg on the left side of the footboard broke on the first night. After examining the broken leg I can see why it broke, not very solidly designed and attached to footboard. The bed does rock and not feel very solid though it maybe have been due to the broken leg. I returned.

Love it! It looks great. The slats did rattle at first as other reviews stated but we put some padding between the wood slats and the metal support and that fixed the noise.

Very very sturdy! The bed does not rock back and forth, it’s solidly built.

Quick ship, but disappointed by the color. I thought it was going to be a lighter wood color, but it’s actually very dark. Pictures do not reflect what you get.

This bed is a Beautiful, heavy and classic modern bed! I think it would look beautiful in almost any style home. So happy with this purchase.

We returned this bed as it was not needed after all. Never opened boxes. We did keep the nightstands and they are not a quality we can recommend. They will not be used much in our guest room, so it is fine. Otherwise they would have been returned as well. The wood is also “rough” textured and it catches on clothing. I assume the matching bed would too.

Sturdy bedframe. Color of wood lighter than pictures

Beautiful well built bed, really love it. The color looks great and ended up working great for me, but was expecting it to be lighter. The wood is definitely darker than it appears in the pics, especially the first pic. The last pic on the listing is the closest to the actual color. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the color is what was expected but the bed is awesome. Would definitely recommend, just realize its going to be a bit darker.
