Not sure why this is called dining room bench because this is tiny! It's good enough as decorative bench. Assembly was not complicated but there were no extra screws or parts just in case you lose one.. Cherry. Apex, NC. Sat Jan 31 2026

This 39.4-inch solid pine wood entryway bench blends comfortable seating with practical storage, ideal for small space homes and apartments. Finished in a rich walnut tone with natural wood grain, it features a lower slatted shelf to store shoes, baskets and daily essentials, keeping entryways, hallways and bedrooms clutter-free. Its versatile design works perfectly as an end of bed bench, dining room bench or hallway seat, matching farmhouse, modern and rustic home decor. Built with a reinforced solid wood frame, it provides reliable sturdiness for daily use, and its smooth surface allows for quick and easy cleaning.

Very pretty and sturdy bench that would work well in many places. I took off one star because instructions were difficult to understand and the bolts show (no caps to go over them but that could be personal preference). It's a nice, dark color and feels like good quality.. Jenna. Mon Aug 03 2026

I’ve made a handful of Wayfair purchases over the past years and never had regrets but this is easily the worst choice. Once I opened this, I knew this wasn’t what I wanted but it would’ve cost me to return it and I figured I should give it a shot instead of writing it off right away. Trust your gut! You get what you pay for. I got this because it fit the dimensions of a dining table I got. The look of it is cheap. It looks like someone took a bad screenshot of wood paneling and used it as the “finish” to this bench. If it were a standalone bench, I’d throw it away altogether but it looks ok with the rest of my dining set. However, the main complaint is that the cheap wood this is made of is very noticeable. I’ve only sat on it once and I’m genuinely concerned to sit on it. Definitely can’t have two people on it without collapsing. I spent so much time putting this together and you can clearly hear the whole bench just snap, crackle, and pop with any weight put on it whatsoever. This was never the prettiest bench but I thought it would be functional, and now I don’t even want to have guests over because I’m concerned for them sitting on this.. Alex. Fri Jun 19 2026
