I do not recommend this chicken coop. Supposedly water proof, water keeps seeping in and as much as I change the bedding, I now have maggots and other bugs in the coop. It’s is a headache to deal with and clean. The drawer doesn’t pull out easily and it’s very hard to clean out overall. Do yourself a favor and not buy this coop

We've had the coop about 2 years now. We keep the interior deeply filled with woodchips or straw and replace it every 2 to 4 weeks depending on condition. This has prevented the bottom from rotting out so far. Tar paper roof wrap has maybe another year before we're going to need to replace it. Is is showing wear. The ramp only lasted about a year but we have replaced that easily. Generally, this has been a safe, secure coop and in combination with a secure run, we have not lost any hens or eggs to predators. Free range chickens get picked off within 36 hours, so this is effective.

Great chicken coop. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Nice starter coop or for small flocks.

I bought this little coop back when I had 5 chickens. I have moved it several times. It's sturdy enough, but my chickens weren't laying yet (it has 6 nesting boxes) and even though it has a little roosting bar that goes in there, the chickens never used it. They go in there now when it's raining, but I have 24 chickens now (don't ask, I didn't know chickens just multiply on their own) and it's mostly used by my 4 cats who love lounging in there watching the chickens. Considering how many times I've moved it, I'm surprised how well it has hung together.

This one was destroyed in the store in March. It was fine for my birds til then.
