It's really too small to keep full sized or large chickens in as a coop, but works well for my chickens placed inside a larger metal frame coop so they have some space in an area they can't free roam and they use the hen house for nesting and sleeping. If you were to use this as a full time coop with no extension, you could keep two-three of the smaller breed chickens reasonably, with regular cleaning. It does move with one person though I will say the material doesn't seem strong enough to last long outdoors (at least not in LA or TX, with heat, rain, and humidity) for an extended period of time. Highly recommend to keep it in a covered/shaded area, if possible and it should last much longer. While I would not feel comfortable keeping a larger breed chicken or poultry in it without an extension, I would purchase again for the small breeds.

Ive put together 5 coops before this one and I say this one was easy and fun. Im 71 and did it by myself. What features I like were the wheels. The handle and an extra roosting bar in the front of coop. Also the vinyl strip that keeps rain out of nesting box. Ive learned hacks to make them sturdier by using wood glue. This coop is better made than the others. Also, mentioning never use heavy duty drills, just light duty or hand screw only.

It’ll serve its purpose as a temporary home for our chickens while we get their big coop finished. Some of the screws popped right out when we opened the nesting box for the first time. The asphalt from the roof keeps falling into the nesting boxes when we open them. The paint is very splotchy in several places. Overall it’s what we expected for the price. Good enough temporarily, but not a great long term solution.
