Very nice coop! Not sure size would fit 8 fully grown chickens, 7 maybe, but Im putting it in an enclosed run for more space. Super cute too!

It definitely needs reinforcing but it’s a great base. It’s a cute design and bigger coop space than others of similar price range so I’d definitely recommend it! I painted with a urethane enamel inside and out for added durability as the existing paint is more like a chalky primer that I expect to fade and crack the moment it gets wet. I added additional smaller hardware in 14 inch mesh on the inside of all surfaces and roof and added a higher and larger roost. I added an automatic chicken door and left the existing there in case of emergency. I used corner brackets on every corner which did add a ton of rigidity to the structure it wouldn’t have had otherwise. A determined predator could’ve otherwise forced pieces open with how few screws hold each panel together. The nesting box structure is pretty flimsy at the bottom so I also reinforced that. Overall, for the price you are definitely getting a deal in terms of base structure and space in the actual coop compared to others. I’d say the coopsnesting portion could hold 8 birds if they were stuffed together but realistically it’s a good size for my 4 medium-large size birds with an added run built connected to the existing structure. I’d recommend it for the price for a good starter coop if you’re willing to put some extra tile and money into reinforcing and adding additional durability! It’s cute!
