Etagere Bookcase

I didn't expect these to come in so many boxes, but they look great and the modular nature meant they fit perfectly.

Great bookcase! I bought this bookcase with no reviews, but took the chance and glad I did. The shelves are thick pieces of wood and the holes where you screw in the black bars are reinforced with metal pieces (sorry for my lack of correct terminology), so it feels much more solid than most pieces on this site. The black bars can be configured multiple ways, so you can sort of customize it a bit, which is neat! Super quick and straightforward to assemble since it's just one type of screw throughout the whole piece. I was able to assemble it as one person for the most part, except when putting in the H-looking brackets to connect the shelves together (it comes as 3 shelves). That took a bit of elbow grease and holding in place with a second pair of hands. My only gripe about this piece is that even after putting in 4 of the H brackets (2 between each shelf), they're still not perfectly aligned. Some gaps as shown on the bottom row and the parts where the shelves connect are not completely level, so you can definitely tell they're 3 shelves put together. I also ran into a problem with one of the pieces of wood arriving damaged, and customer service was great. They got back to me within 24 hours, were understanding and sent me a new one and I was able to finish it within the week! I even asked for a missing part the next day and they sent it to me no problem. Overall, a satisfied customer and would recommend. Picture has black blobs to censor some personal items :)

The perfect length to fill my entire empty wall!

We ordered these for our condo and they are the highlight of our den. I was a little worried about the bars, but they are tasteful and give the piece character. Only tip is if you are buying multiple units to connect, make sure you follow the instructions for joining multiple shelves!

I used this as a room divider and works really well.
