Great piece and works well for front door ankle boot storage!

I have got to quit loving furniture. After all it is just furniture. But every time I look at this York Monastery Bench I start smiling. Toscano has got to quit finding these incredible items and making them available to me. this is one beautiful bench. The detailed carving is worth admiring. It became much darker in color when I polished it with a beeswax/non-petro polish that I read was recommended for fine furniture. It now matches the other monastery bench I have from Toscano made from maghogany. All goes well with my Lord Raffles collection.
