The mounting is so bad. The French cleat that’s supposed to hold it tight to the wall doesn’t work. In order to make this sturdy enough to hold anything, I had to modify the mount and drill through the table into studs. Run away if you don’t feel like modifying this

Installed as bedside tables. Works perfectly. Could not have had these custom made for this price

The console itself is great. The type of wall anchors it comes with is not made for such a heavy load (doesn’t get screwed in). I saw a review that talks about the console pulling away from the wall, and I suspect that the wall anchors are not doing their job. We replaced ours with ones that screw into the wall and rated for 75lbs as well as longer screws, and the console is staying perfectly flush to the wall. We are very happy with the end result.

Great piece - size, style, quality (solid wood!) This is perfect for the slim entryway space in my house. I wish the technical drawings on the instructions were better done, but I did figure out how the piece fits onto the beam that gets attached to the wall. Open box price was a great bargain too. Edited post attempted installation: Piece would not sit flush against wall. Nice idea, failed execution.

The unit itself looks fine, but installation instructions could be clearer. Once installed, the unit did not sit flush to the wall and tilts down away from the wall.
