I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. We purchased these chairs to go with the Gullveig Light Gray Kitchen Table and were worried that the wood on the chairs and the wood base of the table would be too obviously different. However, the table base wood has lighter and darker wood color variations that compliment the wood on the arms of the chairs well. Although the gray table top and gray upholstery of the chairs are different hues it all ties together considering the gray floors and other furniture in the room.
