Slate levelling and attaching the felt require expertise beyond typical furniture installation. Regular installations typically require the assistance of two or more adults. I was a little nervous about how much manufactured materials are in it, but it's quite a solid, smooth and pretty table. Wasn't hard to get the skirt and legs on. Unboxing it and disposing of all the packaging was more work than getting it together. Couple of tips - get a hex drill bit (most common furniture size) and ratcheting screwdriver. It'll take forever with the tiny allen wrench supplied. Also, the screws can be hard to because of the way they're installed.
