Arrived early!! Very nice tables I put together myself with the little tool that came with! I am terrible at this stuff so it was super easy about 20 minutes just mostly putting the screws in. Directions are easy. Table top sits on the stand but has little rubber stoppers to prevent them from moving. Not suitable for children but definitely a lovely addition to any room. All in all - I am very pleased with the overall quality and construction of this table. Heavy faux marble laminated surface has matching plastic edge banding with slight seam reveal which could be problematic with any liquid. If kept dry, this should last forever. The "black" colour of this product is dark walnut with brown wooden grain, not pure black, there will be a slight colour difference under different lights. It’s aesthetically pleasing, but really quite a pain to build. I have blisters on my hands from all the things you have to screw in, and I couldn’t put together the top compartment on my own. All together it took 4 hours to build, and the opening and closing of the table top is not as seamless as I would have hoped. Happy I got it on sale or it would not have been worth the price.. Looks good and assembly was fine but the gap between the lift top and the slide out section of the table top is a bit too noticeable. We tried tightening and adjusting but the gap is still visible.
