Being able to schedule the unit to turn on has been a game changer. I like the night mode, especially since the screen turns off and it slowly tapers off how cool it is. It did startle us the first night because it makes a bit of a noise compared to a larger unit we have when on auto mode. The louver or where the air discharges moves up and down if you'd like and being able to have it close when the unit is off is nice. This air conditioner works pretty well in a small room. My husband cut a hole in the wall to vent it outside. It stays fairly consistent to the set temp except during the hottest part of the day when the sun shines directly into that room. It still stayed cool enough but just not at set temp. This little window AC is a power unit.  We purchased it for my husbands shop he is building and tried it out in our garage and it works great.
