This was an open box purchase and I can't believe I scored this shower system! Unbelievable value for the open box price. I purchased this for a home build so I have not installed or used yet. ***Post installation review: Sometimes something too good to be true actually is. I would not rate this 5 stars if I had a "re-do", I would rate it 3 stars. The system works and it's almost as pictured. The set came wrapped and I checked to make sure everything was included and it was. The problem is that everything was polished EXCEPT for the bar - it was a brushed finish. So now I have a shower system that has two finishes. It may not bother some people, but it bothers me. I just wish that information would have been disclosed. Shame on me for not fully unwrapping everything! My tip is to fully unwrap everything and fully check as much as you can.

I think it should be clarified that this item will not be of any use to you unless you also by two expensive valves. About the first rough-in valve for $98 we were informed at the time of the purchase, but as we tried to install it, it became painfully obvious, that if we intended to use the hand held shower feature, which of course we did, since we bought the item with this feature included, we would have to order yet an other valve for $121. Most people, including are not professionals and will think they are buying a whole workable kit and it is not made clear that you will need to spend over $200 more for this item to be of any use to you. The second valve, a diverter valve, was recommended but not required, according to the description, but there is no way the hand-held shower can be used without it.
