It has been installed for about 2 weeks now. I am amazed. It is so quiet. Depending on the fan speed chosen, sounds like gently rolling waves or gentle breeze. It was installed in my master bedroom where house AC failed to get to efficiently unless jacked way down leaving the lower floors freezing. This was a great solution to keep our upstairs cool.. Being able to schedule the unit to turn on has been a game changer. I like the night mode, especially since the screen turns off and it slowly tapers off how cool it is. It did startle us the first night because it makes a bit of a noise compared to a larger unit we have when on auto mode. The louver or where the air discharges moves up and down if you'd like and being able to have it close when the unit is off is nice.
