When the package arrived I unpacked all the items snd noticed one item cracked and I was so disappointed plus I really didn’t want to repack all the pieces into the box. I went to the Wayfair Help area and although I had to take a lot of pictures, I was able to get a new piece mailed to me. Communication kept me informed of the shipment. The desk itself took a bit of time to put together for me and if time is a constraint, I would hire someone else to do it. The extra phone plugs are handy and the lights can be white or blue, which really make it nice so don’t buy a lamp to go along with the desk. After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine.
