The pictures were ok to put together, but at one point I realized I had part of the bottom box wall upsidedown and this was preventing me from being able to screw the base part to the shoe rack box part. There is a vent on the floor in my entry and because of the wood slats in the shelves I was able to set it over the vent without blocking the airflow. The bench is not very wide, so it doesn’t stick out into my entry, but it’s wide enough to sit on and bend over to put on shoes. My husband has large feet and his shoes. Don’t stick out from the shelves. (Although one shoe in the photo is not pushed all the way in, so it appears to stick out) I was so surprised to realize how well the fabric matches my walls! I love the look of shoe storage cabinet, went together well. The only thing is we can get 6 pair of shoes only in the cabinet and you have to put them in on an angle for it to work and be able to close the drawer. The cabinet was pretty easy to assemble. The pre-drilled screw holes didn’t line up perfectly but it still went together fine. It’s sturdy and the doors close clean flush with the frame.
