My husband and I are in our 80s and did it ourselves. There were four pieces to put together, the seat, the seat back and 2 shoulder rests. Seatback slipped easily into the main chair. Shoulder rests were a little more tricky to line the tracks up because of the thickness of the padding. We had to turn the chair on its side and one of us squished down the padding while the other one slid the piece on its track, but overall not at all difficult. Absolutely beautiful recliners! Very happy with this purchase, as you can see in the photos, these chairs are very well made, very comfortable, sturdy, picture shows them particularly reclined, they fully recline to a lying flat position, headrests are adjustable,separately from the rest of the chair! The most fully customizable recliners we have owned! Top quality leather, we purchased Saddle, but they are a little darker in person. That being said,we are extremely happy with our new recliners! After several days, I have to include that these chairs are VERY firm, if you’re looking for something that you can sink into and relax, these are not the ones.
