Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.. Laurel. Ormond Beach, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

Turn your restful retreat into a farmhouse-inspired dream with this standard bed. It's made from metal and features an open footboard and headboard in the colour of your choice. It is constructed from solid and engineered wood with a rich protective finish that further enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Beautiful bed frame, however seems like the screws come loose easily. We haven’t had any major problems but something about it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would have hoped. Very pretty though!. Julie. Catonsville, MD. Wed Aug 26 2026

Bed was well packaged, pieces and hardware were clearly marked. The (metric) wrench which was critical to assembly was badly bent and poorly made, even after straightening it assembly took close to 3 hours. Purchased this queen bed frame for a vacation rental and so far we have been very happy with it. It is solid, well made and a great value for the price. It sits low but that’s what I needed due to a window nearby. I bought another frame for 100 less on wayfair and the quality was not great I should have just spent a bit more and gotten a second one of these, would buy again. Update this bed has a 600 lb weight limit (I overlooked this in the details) and it snappedbroke about 2 years after I bought it. I reapproved with a 10000 lb limit bed. Jennifer. San Diego, CA. I was very nervous to purchase something off of here as it was my first time doing so. But I am super happy about this bed frame as someone that is extremely picky - about everything. This bed frame feels like good quality, legit furniture. It was also very easy to set up by myself. Directions were super straightforward and I only goofed up 1x during the steps. Really cute and has that vintage feel I am looking for. Took about 1 hour and a half to put together.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 26 2026

Love the sturdiness for my daughter’s room. However the staining on the lighter color almost makes it look dirty around certain edges, i’m not sure if that was intentional for a “driftwood color”. We saw the bed originally in the Atlanta showroom and did not notice the discoloration!. Katie. Mount Pleasant, SC. Sun Oct 04 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

This bed was surprisingly very easy to assemble and I find construction quality to be impressive for the fair price. It looks really nice. I do wish the headboard was a bit taller so you can see it more once the mattress and pillows are setup, but no big deal. I would recommend this and buy it again should I need another bed in the future.. Paige. Greenville, SC. Mon Oct 05 2026
