Lampe de chevet Alexios

This lamp is not great quality and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open the remote to insert a battery. Plus, I cannot discern whether or not the actual lamp part works. I gave it two stars only because it was inexpensive and I didn't expect much. Still, this was really not enough.

Well...i bought this as a night light to put into a upatarirs guest room in a weird spot that needed a small light. I liked that it offered different light controls via a remote. Having said that , I didn't know I was getting two , which isn't a bad thing but only has one remote so I can't use second one in another room . I also didn't care for the ongoing issues we have with many products coming from China. I would like to see us a s a country bringing in items from other countries , or built here. I personally will pay more . The batteries needed are 3 AA and as picture shows , the emblem that is inside battery case shows them having to be placed wrong way . Someone should tell QC at plant this ...
