I needed two unique lamps for a guest room that were taller than usual, and these fit the bill! The marble base is very heavy, just an FYI. Also the interior shade gold material make EVERYTHING gold, no matter what kind of light bulb you use. It shoots gold light - so definitely keep that in mind when purchasing.
