This is a solid lamp. When I was assembling it, I was impressed with how solid it felt. The base is weighted and the pieces screwed together tightly. It has a foot pedal and a remote to power it. You can change the color and brightness of the light (only warm and cool white not other colors). This was a nicer quality than I had expected. It's sturdy, the lights and bubble action work well. It comes with a remote control. It also comes with an anchor loop to secure it against a wall.
