Great fan for a large room. I have it black side down for the blades. There is a faux wood side in a walnut color. I have a wall switch that turns it on and off. I may add a control for the fan. I purchased 4 of these fans. To be honest they're great for small rooms. I put 2 in my daughters room and 1 in my sons and it does the job great. the air flow is good. at first I was like its regular air flow but in my daughters room after we installed the 1st fan we turned on the new one and the old one that was still up in her room the old one when I stood under it I didnt feel anything and then when I stood under this one I felt lots of air! the light is super bright and dimmable.
