This trying to bed was just what I was looking for. I have a piece of furniture when it's not being used. I looked at the Murphy beds but then it's just a cabinet. This gives you something to sit on. I love it. I'm very easy to slide out on the bottom bed. I did hire somebody to put it together which is a smart move to do. It took him an hour and a half. It would have taken me a day. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. What an incredible find?! We needed to replace the bunk bed at our cabin and were struggling to find a better alternative. Not only did the bed meet Our needs and price range, but thanks to the trundle, it saved so much space without losing any beds or the motif. Assembly was easy (took just under an hour with two people). We were missing two screws for one of the collapsible legs on the trundle, but it still works without that one bar. We already had two 6” mattresses from the old bunk bed, which we reused. It’s helpful for future buyers to know that the 6” was all we could get out of the trundle for it to roll in-and-out from under the bed frame with the comforter and sheets still on. Eventually, we added an 8” mattress to the top, which was even more comfortable and didn’t block the shelf on the headboard. Some of the other reviews say this unit is great as a children’s bed, which is true. But I’d like to add that a family friend and both my parents have used the beds (including my nearly 300 lb father) and it more than supports grown adults as well. My favorite features are the dual 110v outlets with a built-in USB charger, as well as the keyholes in the frame to convert both the trundle and top frame into a full without sliding apart mid-sleep. Only downside I’ve experienced is both frames squeak frequently, but the squeaking is not really enough to create a distraction or lose sleep over. Overall, this bed has been a smashing success. It looks great, supports kids and adults alike, and saves so much of space compared to other guest or bunk beds on the market. The Harmony Daybed is a perfect space-saving bed for your guests, your child's room, or anywhere you need more sleeping space! Constructed from Brazilian Pine, our furniture is meant to be stylish and durable. This bed requires two twin-size mattresses, not included. The two mattresses stack on top of each other while the bed is in the twin position. We suggest two twin mattresses that are 4-6"H so that some of the bed frames will still show. When you pull out the bed you will slide one mattress over to the extended side and the bed will be level to a king-size; a unique style of a trundle bed. The drawers will also extend so you can still access them.

This bed is very cute and should serve my purpose well for the guest room . The pros for this product are: 1) it used materials in combination of solid pinewood and manufactured wood, rather than ALL mdf (wood chips), so it should be more durable and re-paintable if need be; 2) there is a quality control in accurate organization of materials list and assembly instruction for the most part; 3) the final product after assembly has an appeal, that is, aesthetically pleasing; 4) it was delivered super-fast without damage in transition. The cons are: 1) the cost; it's double the price of other trundle beds made of mdf; 2) Assembly requires some handyman skill because of specificity. I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have the patience for precision in assembly; 3) there is a slight miscalculation in design; Or it should have allowed more room in planning the slats. The Spec indicates the width of the bed as 77", but mine came out as 76.5", which made the slats too tight between 4-5 boards even after adjusting for the 1/2" shortage. Lastly, the instruction in Step 13 is missing the info that you need to drill a hole on the two end slats for two metal dowels. I was glad, however, that the end slats didn't come pre-drilled holes, as I needed to adjust the length of the trundle and the spaces on end slats. Overall, this is a charming product produced with a level of quality control. We ordered two of these beds for our girls and we absolutely love them! It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put both of them together. I did take off one star because one of our girls lights came damaged.At first we thought it was just the remote but the wiring was damaged as well. Our other daughter’s remote works with the other bed but only certain colors and the music function does not work on the damaged bed. Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself.
