Great product but not to be outside in the weather

I was excited about this bird house! It’s big and sturdy and with vibrant colors just like in the picture with the American flag. It comes with a chain to hang it, which is better than any rope as I’ve seen in other bird houses. Good purchase!

I was a bit concerned when the box arrived and it was in bad shape. However the birdhouse was in good shape, no scratches or dings. It is very cute. However I don’t think it would last very long in the weather. A coat of polyurethane would be called for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great way to show your American spirit by hanging this lightweight and patriotic-themed birdhouse in the yard. I love the American flag design of this large, 16 inch, 2-compartment wood birdhouse. The colors are bright and easily visible. It's large enough for a bigger bird like cardinals to nest in. The only thing I'd improve on would be a longer perch at the door. I can't wait to see what birds decide to choose this as their house in the Spring.
