Definitely get some help to put this thing together. However, any bit of wind sends this canopy sliding back and forth which is noisy and damages the canopy fabric. I have had this item for a few short months and the canopy is torn from this action.

Overall pleased with the purchase. We were not sent enough anchors for the posts to put into the ground and had to buy something similar for the last two posts to secure them to the ground. The only downside so far is when both the side curtains are up the roof blows back since the side curtains bars are the weight that keeps the roof down. I recommend having 3 people to put it together, there were two of us and that was a bit of a struggle.

Very sturdy and I like that you can easily pull the canopy down on either end to different heights.

Absolutely love this pergola!! Can switch the shade to lower on either side or even out. Only took about two hour assembly. This is perfect for over our table and blocking wind from either direction. Seems to be more sturdy than our last gazebo which fell apart with first strong windstorm. Love design and versatility!!!

Easy to set up, looks great in our backyard!
