My review is between and 3/4 star. This is a beautiful birdhouse, well made, quality materials. The issue is no easy way to clean this out at the end of the season. This is a very nice nesting box. The description is a bit misleading. It does not come with 2 predator guards. Only one is attached. Thankfully it’s the one I need for Eastern Bluebirds. So, while this birdhouse displays that it is constructed sturdily with screws, they do not reach through the top piece. My box came a bit banged up and one side of the roof was displaced. This was glued, held in place by 2 thin staples. Sigh... I glued it back in place and will hang it out, but those screws appear to be just window dressing.
