There were not many detailed reviews for this when I bought it, so I wanted to provide as much as I can to help shoppers make a decision. This is a great addition to our home at minimal cost (compared to a deck or roof). But this build is not for the faint of heart! Make sure your husband, partner, etc. is mechanically inclined and has a case of beer or favorite whiskey nearby! lol. We took our time and finished this over 3 days. Following the instructions is a must (we learned that the hard way after skipping a step). There are lots of pieces. Best thing to do is lay everything out so you can easily identify the part numbers. (Lay in grass or on top of a tarp so you don’t scratch the paint.) The one thing they don’t account for is securing it to the ground and house. We had to buy all of the masonry screws to install the 4 posts in the concrete patio and 4 brackets on the side of the house. Additional tools are needed for masonry install, like a hammer drill. (Would be a much easier job if installing into wood.) Recommend spending the extra money for the 14’ if you have the space. Our furniture would have been too crowded under the 12’. So far no leaks. Time will tell if it holds up to snow this winter. There are 2 reinforcement posts included that go in the middle of the frame. We will be putting those up in the winter if heavy snow is expected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sojag canopy parts are well constructed. Very nice finishes on every piece. It would be pretty hard to complete this project without a helper. The assembly can be done in one full day. Became quicker construction when the impact gun was used, however we are used to that tool and knew how to not over tighten. We used a square early on to keep the upright supports square. It should be emphasized in the directions when to final tighten screws. The cross supports which secure the roofing material should NOT be tightened until all screws are installed from above which hold the roofing material down. I found the instructions fairly easy to follow. The parts all seem to fit together fairly well. My only complaint is that there is a cap that runs the full width of the rear of the roof and is difficult (if not impossible) to install when the room is fully constructed. Great quality and easy assembly. I am a 58 year old woman, and except for the part requiring two people,I have been putting it together by myself. Taking my time, at my own pace, will be done in a couple of days. All parts are separately wrapped by group, and marked. All screws, caps are well packaged and marked. The instruction book has so far been the best I have ever had to work with. No written instructions, only pictures of the assembly along with the parts number used for that section. Very impressive, good quality, great packaging and timely deliver. I’m thinking of buying another to replace an old pergola. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Sojag gazebo. Looks good. Has a small leak in the roof. Covers hot tub great. Delivery could have been better. No one called to say they would be delivering that day. Was scheduled for delivery 2 days later. No call and no one knocked on the door. Just happened to look out window and saw the boxes laying on the grass. The box was pretty beaten up. Website would not let me upload photos. Bought this gazebo last year. Used it for approximately 4-5 months then removed the cloth roof for the winter at which time it seemed to have gotten brittle. Upon reinstalling it on the gazebo, it very easily ripped. We only got 4-5 months use out of the cloth roof and the company would not back this product. They said it was normal after being out in the sun. We have had other gazebos and got 3-5 YEARS out of them before replacing. The frame itself is the best we have ever had. As advertised, solid, stable shelter. Took two ladies, two ladders and a day to organize and set up. After watching vidoes and reading reviews we took the time to be hyper organized before we started which made it straight forward to progress step by step.
