My husband I just assembled the cat house for a feral cat that lives along a ravine behind our backyard. She had kittens a few weeks ago and we are feeding her well. We don’t know where the kittens are. Probably under someone’s shed. We are anticipating her to bring the kittens to eat when she is weaning them. Our goal is to trap them all together and get them spayed, neutered and their shots. We don’t have any structures in our backyard so I bought this for her so that when it rains she can still come and eat. I’m praying that the raccoons, possums and other stray cats leave it alone. It was easy and quick to assemble with the two of us. Everything was labeled well and instructions were simple. It is not a real heavy structure so we are going to put anchors in the ground and put straps on it to prevent it from flying away in high winds. We put it on bocks to lift it from getting saturated when heavy rains arrive. We live in Tampa where it is very dry right now, but rainy season will soon be upon us. Hopefully she’ll eat there and allow her kittens to come and play on it.

We got this cat house for a couple of feral cats living on our property. It was easy to put together, the instructions were clear and everything lined up well. Once assembled, it looks really cute outside and I like the blue color. That said, it’s made from fairly lightweight wood with a protective coating. It feels sturdy enough when set up, but I’m not sure how many seasons it will truly last in heavy rain. It’s advertised as insulated, but there isn’t noticeable insulation inside, and it’s not very tall. I do like some of the thoughtful design features. The side door works as an outward opening escape hatch. The front door has plastic strips to help block wind and rain, but they are not removable. The raised second story keeps cats off cold, wet ground. The roof opens, which makes it easy to check inside or add bedding. Overall, I think it will work well as a sheltered resting spot or playhouse, especially in a covered patio or milder climate.

The outdoor waterproof cat house by Tucker Murphy pets . Not only is it cute the cat loves it . It was a snap to put it together . Very sturdy . The color is pretty blue with black . Ill be happy to put this one in my yard . Very nice looking .

This cat house is cute and may really be a life saver for outdoor cats who need shelter. But its not made to last very long. The walls are a foam-type material. Yes, that would be somewhat insulating, but I dont see how it will hold up against rain. The roof is metal and one side opens for cleaning access. The little door on the side only opens outward for a safety escape hatch. The front door has plastic strips to help keep wind and rain out. The ramp is also made of this foam so again, I dont see it holding up to rain. The main part is the second story which helps keep cats off a cold, wet ground and out of the wind. My cats are indoor cats who enjoy a big, screened patio. I got this more for a playhouse for them. They arent interested so I will donate it to a cat rescue.

We are so very happy with this cat house. Winter has been terrible this year and weve seen a couple of strays so we got this to help them survive. It is super sturdy, easily accessible if you need to clean it out and was one of the easiest things Ive had to assemble in a while. I would encourage anyone to purchase. Its a great product.
