My chicks arnt old enough to go in the coop yet but as far as putting it together the Instructions are terrible. Once we got to looking at it we figured out where every screw went. Not really sure it's big enough for 6 chickens but I guest I will find out in a few weeks. Also in the picture it looks brown but it's is a very bright orange

We were tickled to receive our 1st coop which arrived in 4 days & in 2 boxes. Directions for assembly could have been better but we figured it it w/o much difficulty. Since the wood is fairly soft (fir) we recommend waxing the screws before drilling them in and on a slower speed as well. No cracking of the wood that way. It seems smaller than the picture so we are only allowing for 3-4 hens and will build a run around the coop but I am sure all will be happy. The perch is a little low so we relocated it and raised it higher off the ground, but, other than that, we are very pleased!

As much as I love this little chicken coop, I must say, the assembly instructions were very bad, therefore making it difficult to put together. I am thankful that the men in my life know how to do this stuff already. I would still be assembling it, 24 hours later, had it not been for them. As for the size, the picture on Wayfair does not show the reality. I have uploaded a picture with my guys to show you the REAL size. Even with the measurements listed, it is still deceptive. As for it holding four chickens, I am concerned about it holding two.

I am utterly disappointed with this chicken coop. After reading most of its reviews, I decided that with a skilled builder to construct it, it would be a good purchase. I was wrong. This coop has caused me nothing but aggravation. The materials are so cheap, that although my 4 chickens have only been in the coop 4 nights, I have already had to rig and repair it with wood glue, about 24 extra screws, zip ties, a waterproof tarp, and heavy-duty staples. Yes a tarp! The coop is not waterproof and my chickens and all of their bedding is soaked after just one day of rain. I cannot believe that I wasted $319 on this purchase. Do not make the same mistake I made!

I have not actually Used this yet. I’ll be getting my chicks in the spring. But this chicken coop definitely needs extra reinforcement and I wish that the Wood was a little thicker

This coop is five years old and still going strong. It’s a great coop for new chickens.

It’s a decent structure for the price. We had some rats we wanted to keep out and reinforcing any areas was difficult with the thin elements used. As is, it’s functional and works however.
