Value A-Frame Outdoor Wood Chicken Coop

EDIT… It took a month to finish, had a few delays getting some roofing materials and then put it all on. It’s a huge project and u definitely need skilled people for this project!! It comes in a pile of pieces!!!! Good things…. 1. It’s done 2. I live with a carpenter Bad things…. 1. It all comes in pre cut lumber, NOT SECTIONS PUT TOGETHER. 2. Instructions were awful 3. Missing pieces 4. It DOESN’T come with ANY ROOFING MATERIALS, so u will then need to pay for tar paper, drip edge, shingles or metal roofing material. 5. Then needs to be painted. 6. Need to buy 4x4’s for the runners underneath the floor. 7. The corner trim is cheap and doesn’t cover the angle on the corners. 8. U either better know how to build well or have someone build it for u, and it will still take several days to potentially weeks depending on the amount of people to help build. It could be built in a day if u have several people and experienced people. In our pictures, we r still waiting for the metal roof to come in.

Parts arrived on a pallet and we opened the package a day later and all of the pieces for the foundation were completely molded.

The coop is great. Easy to put together with colored instructions. My chickens are very happy with it.

Construction materials seem to be of good quality. Instructions need to be updated as the measurements were a little off. The nails are of poor quality and bend if any resistance is met. I had to purchase better nails, overall I am pleased with the coop. I ended up moving the chicken door to the side, added two security latches to the door, a security door in front of the chicken door and two vents up high for air flow.

The quality is great. The delivery time is fast and putting everything together was fun for the whole family. Getting ready to move the chicks in to their new home soon after we build a run.
