Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up.

This product worked great at first. I purchased extra zip ties to secure the run better. After the second winter here in the north east, the structure collapsed. Luckily no human or chicken was hurt when this happened. If you live in an area that gets “heavy” snow I would take the cover off during the winter, so this doesn’t happen to yours.

It's a good chicken run. We always replace the chicken wire with 1/2" hardware cloth, which does a far better job keeping out predators. But the unit is good. The only reason we had to replace part of the one we purchased 4 years ago was because a big oak branch fell on it!
