It will do in a pinch. Cheap wood, no door on the ramp, cracked sides, and no nesting box. Fine for chicks if you plan on reinforcing it. If I didnt need it I would send it back.

I unboxed the the coop to install it today 3825. Upon taking it out of the box two of the sections noted to be visible broken and was glued up, secondly the cage did not meet my expectation as I thought it was big enough to house 8 adult chickens and thirdly, the material that is used to build the coop is very flimsy and easily blown away if the wind is moderately strong. If you decide on buying this product be sure to buy a large chicken as well. In doing so you will be able to place this one into the larger structure. Good luck.

This is not for 8 chickens. Maybe 2. Holes were pre drilled and did not line up. Had to pre drill holes to put together. The wood for the ramp was split. Poor quality.
