This is a solid feeder. Easy to load, empty, and clean. The color blends in and isnt garish. Given its size, it can get quite heavy if you load it up with seed so I would recommend a strong tree branch or one of those wrought iron stakes to hold it firm.

I like that this chicken feeder can hang from something. That will make them more convenient. Chickens kick stuff into them when they sit on the ground. I like metal rather than plastic. Seems like it will last. It appears to be sturdy metal and properly manufactured. Perfect size for my meat birds. Overall would recommend.

I am excited to use this for my pigeons. You fill it from the top and the seed comes out the bottom into the trough. The trough is deep enough to hold a lot of seed so it is really good for my beak disabled pigeon who needs to eat from a deep bowl. It is easy to use and easy to clean and makes feeding a breeze.

This is a lot nicer than I thought. It is very well made, and it holds 9 pounds of feed, just like it says. It seems like the lid will stay on and keep the feed dry. The chickens took to it right away.. I really like the color of the paint and the fact that the welds are very strong. I recommend this to everyone that raises chickens.

Although this feeder is advertised for feeding chickens, I got it to feed dried mealworms to my backyard songbirds -- eastern bluebirds, Baltimore orioles, yellow-rumped warblers, mockingbirds and more eat them. It's sturdy, and I like that it holds a large amount so I don't have to refill it every day. The green color blends in with the vegetation well. The only downside is the tray at the bottom doesn't have any drainage holes, so if the feeder gets rained on, all the food at the bottom get soggy. To remedy that, I hang the feeder under a dome when it rains.
