Great, solid, and wide ramp that folds and unfolds easily. The extra width is very appreciated for larger dogs, and the carpeted surface is good for traction. Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. For small/light dogs, I think this would probably work well, but I had wanted a little assist for one of my medical fosters who was heavier (30 lbs).
