Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Thu Aug 13 2026

If you are a backyard chicken keeper, you know the importance of a good coop. It needs to be safe, and sturdy, and provide ample space for your feathered friends. That's why we are proud to introduce our line of metal chicken coops, designed with both you and your chickens in mind. Our coops are constructed with rust-resistant and durable steel, ensuring they can withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Wed Sep 02 2026

Delivery was quick and set up was great. Pictures are worth a thousand words and were very easy to follow. My ducks are happy with their new home. The two doors are a huge plus. I fit a small pool in one and use the other for access for water and food. I am going to look for more cover as the one that it comes with is nice but not enough for my area. I used more pins and tied it to my chicken pen so no worries about it moving from it's place.. Stephanie. Maryland. Sat Aug 22 2026

This wonderland is roomy enough for 6-8 happy hens to roam, rest, and lay in peace. Designed with both your hens' well-being and your convenience in mind, the hen cage offers a secure, weatherproof shelter against the elements, while the walk-in design makes daily care a simple joy. Your hens will love their new home, and so will you.

Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. We got this as an extension to the Tucker Murphy Pet chicken coop we had to give the chickens more run space. It fit exactly as intended. The only thing I wish was that the wire mesh was a tighter pattern to prevent predators from sticking their arms through the fencing. Anonymous. Wed Jun 17 2026

Shipping was on time, we love our chicken coop, I feel it fits 4 chickens comfortably. It did take quite awhile to put together although it was only one person. Took about all day. Decent quality only bad thing is the wheels are very small and don’t do great on our bumpy ground. But it’s very cute and we love it!. Anonymous. Sun Sep 06 2026

This is awesome! We bought it for our ducks and while it took longer than expected to assemble, it is made of quality, heavy-duty materials. Our birds will be protected from the weather, and my husband (who has owned poultry before) says it's a great set up. We wish there was a latch for the largest room section, but we just put a brick on top since we have both raccoons and possums. Highly recommend!. Karley. Carmel, IN. Fri May 15 2026

Ramps lead from each enclosed box to a fenced enclosure, where the birds can move around in the open air without the risk of predators. Constructed of weatherized natural fir and finished with a brown stain, the boxes each have a waterproof asphalt roof and removable pull-out trays for easy cleaning. This chicken coop accommodates six birds.

This is a nice starter coop for warm areas. This is not for the cold harsh winters in maine. We will need to seal a lot of spaces between parts and plastic the screen in the doors as wind, rain, and snow will likely get through.. Trina Newbury. ME. Thu Sep 24 2026

Sized for approximately 4–6 average-size hens depending on breed and body size, it gives your birds dedicated areas for laying, roosting, resting, and moving through their daily routine without making everyday care feel complicated. Two nesting boxes provide four convenient laying positions, while the interior perch gives hens a familiar place to settle at night. Ventilated windows and air openings encourage fresh airflow through the coop, while the solid wood construction and asphalt-covered roof help create a sheltered backyard environment. From collecting fresh eggs in the morning to closing the doors at dusk, this coop is designed to make keeping a small backyard flock feel more organized, approachable, and enjoyable.

Overall what we expected from the price.. good for 4-6 max hens as described, however, would not trust construction with a big rooster due to quality and thickness of panels. Easy assembly, good instructions, all parts intact, good packaging.. Tom. Kerrville, TX. Thu May 21 2026

Perfect chicken house heavy-duty galvanized wire mesh and spring latch keep chickens in and predators out.

It is a very nice chicken coop. It is well made and easy to assemble. The color shown is the color of the actual product. It is very cute and looks great. It is easy to move around and I didn't have a concern that anything would be able to get in with my chickens and kill them. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that it is a very, very small coop. I moved and only had one chicken left. I wanted to take her with me because she is 11 years old and my new farm didn't have any kind of chicken coop area. I purchased this thinking it would be a great place for her live out her life. However, it is extremely small. I couldn't stand to see her in such a small area. I think it might be a great area for a couple of bunnies or if you need a place to put small chicks before you integrate them into an adult flock of chickens. I wish it was bigger because it is nicely constructed, easy to assemble and the colors worked for my farm. I will now just resell on Marketplace as I already have it all assembled and didn't want to try and repackage to send back. Pay attention to the dimensions shown in the discription and just know that this is a small coop!. Karen. Pacific, MO. Sun Jul 12 2026

Upgrade your backyard with this mobile 4-hen coop. Featuring 1.38" thick wood, wide metal wheels, and an easy-clean PVC liner, it offers a secure, durable, and fresh-air habitat for your flock.

Went together very easily. Also easy to move around. I am using it for my chicks until they are big enough to go with my hens. Currently have 6 8-week old chicks in there and it’s a bit crowded. Be mindful if getting for large hens. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the sliding door above where the ramp is (outside of the enclosed run) has no hardware cloth on it at all, and no lock to make sure it stays shut.. Anonymous. Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up.. This cage was 'as expected', seems pretty sturdy and was pretty straight forward and easy to put together. Took a little time, I did it by myself, but all the screws and brackets seem solid. using it for a rooster that we need to keep away from the other roosters, so it fulfills our need--with one major flaw. Now, I knew this going in and we remedied it on our own with zip ties and chicken wire, but be aware that the only roof is the vinyl/tent top and that tent top will not keep out a raccoon or other eager predator in any way. We have a tiny 2 x2 coop inside this run that we can lock at night, but do add some kind of chicken wire under the canopy if you plan to rely on it for safety, which can easily be done before you put the canopy on. I wish it came with a secure roof, but from what I am seeing, none of these come with a solid roof, so this will have to do, and it seems to be working out for us.. Daniel. Bloomington, IN. I really like this run! If you don’t over stretchpull the chicken wire, you can get it nice and taught without waves and sags. The large chicken coop comes with a chicken run and has two large nesting boxes. The chicken house has four perches with large removable sliding trays for easy cleaning. Galvanized wire mesh walls and a series of locks at each access point keep your family animals safe inside and from predators. Sliding door with steel sliding bar locks ducks safely inside the coop.

I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026

The chicken coop is a great product, perfect for beginners and experienced chicken owners alike! The construction was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to build. It would be perfect for a backyard. The run is small so I wouldn’t have more than 6-10 chickens if you’re not planning to free range. We will free range so I would be comfortable housing more in there. It is convenient height for collecting eggs and cleaning out waste. The doors stick some, but I can sand it down and repaint it pretty easily. This is a great product I would recommend to anyone looking to have a backyard flock.. Debbie. Fri Jul 10 2026
