It's ok tried to put hinges on it and the bamboo cracked. Looks nice.

My only complaint is that a Made in China sticker was stuck to the lid and I had to scrape it off and clean up the adhesive left behind. Placing these stickers on the bottom of the box would be a better idea.

I love this box. It is really simple and the lid just lifts off. But it will not take over a table, just be a nice piece and hold , in my case, some magnifying glasses. It will keep things tidy and out of sight, the box is heavy and solid. And this is a miracle it made it as it was shipped in a bag, like one of those white bags a big online seller uses. I think it came straight from the vendor and it is amazing it came in one piece. that tells you how strong it is. Some times you have just have to wonder what are people thinking. How much could a small box with some of those white foam bubbles cost versus cracking it up and having to send another. So, take a chance , as this is a multiuse great storage box
