Even though I had the measurements - sometimes it is hard to visual what the size will be - it is not as deep (front to back) as I was hoping - the length and height are great. I want to use it to store quilts - like a cedar chest. It won't hold many at all. I do like the look of it. The legs were easy to put on (although the diagram was incorrect on the order of the locking washer and regular washer). It took a few hours to assemble, but mostly due to the amount of screws and cam locks. The trunk arrived nicely wrapped And boxed. But there were some issues. One of the planks in front had to be hammered back together.
